I would have given no stars but as that's not an option, I had to give it one. Where to start?! The barmen were incredibly rude and noticeably unhygienic. Do not order any beer on tap (especially the San Miguel), they taste rancid and watery, and also very expensive for such a rundown pub. You will be fortunate to get a clean glass too.

The floor and surfaces were grimy. If you're brave enough to venture into the toilets, please remember your wellingtons.

The food or the lack of it, was greasy and as tasteless as the surrounding décor.

Wouldnt bother going to this pub the landlord Neil marshall will try and con money out of you, by either giving you less change than you should have or telling you a drink is more that what the prices are. His attitude is appalling and he treats all customers with disrespect. Mr Marshall also is false advertising the drinks prices as he will tell you it's more money when you get your drink as to what is being advertised outside the pub.

This is probably the best pub I have ever been to. I say this as I have been stung into action but what I can only say is a false review. The atmosphere on a Friday & Saturday night is electric and have very rarely seen any trouble since the current owners took the place on! I can only suggest that the previous reviewer came on a rare off night as all regulars have been most welcoming of me and my family and are very welcoming to students and locals alike! Although some of the older generations (who play darts) can get a bit wound up by rowdy and unneeded behaviour! and find the idea of someone throwing a can in a pub which does not serve cans incredibly unlikely.
In summary I would recommend this pub to everyone old and young!

Best Saturday night Karaoke in Swansea. Great atmosphere and lots of people of various ages. Some good talent, too! Thursday quiz iz good, too.

Wow .. What a place, I really enjoyed my time here there is something for everyone - Sports teams who are really welcoming, Sky Sports, tasty menu great atmosphere I came here once and only come here now - staff are great and the locals are welcoming! Top place!

initially i thought this pub was great. friendly staff and great atomosphere. but as the night progressed the regular patrons were far from welcoming. my friend and myself were told to keep quiet because we were upsetting the darts players, tis only darts. as i was in the gents i hear various guys moaning about myself and my friend, with pointed looks in my direction, again, tis only darts. as we left an empty can was flung in our direction. i will not be visiting again.
