My mother and I went to visit my fathers site last week, to find a full skip sitting on the site. This was very upsetting for both my mother and I as well as other family members.
There were no plaques to the side of the site where Dad's plaque and ashes are, and the skip could have been sited there instead.
I have tried to find an email address to contact but this seems elusive.
We have previously had cause for complaint, when Dad's Plaque was removed, apparently following some work in the area, and obviously the site was not checked afterwards to ensure nothing had inadvertently been disturbed.
There appears to be a total lack of care and respect, which is both very sad and worrying.

I visited the crematorium yesterday (02/03/14) and was so unpset after my visit find it necessary to write a review. There is major resurfacing work being carried out in the entrance to the crematorium and the road/paths around the chapel and restrooms. It is not even possible to walk through the gateway and we were directed by workmen to use the Adel Lane entrance where there is no parking. Eventually we had to abandon the car and walk across muddy paths to try to get to the opposite side of the crematorium which was virtually impossible. The workmen were not helpful to say the least, said we could not go through and there were no signs anywhere to direct us. We eventually had to walk miles and managed to get where we wanted to be which cannot be said for a lot of people we encountered who had given it up - even one gentleman who wss unable to get to his father's plaque on what was a specific anniversary date. I was extremely distressed by this experience on what is an upsetting day anyway!
