A good cost effective service with friendly staff who speak plain english and try to help unlike some other companies whose customer advisors appear to be there simply to put obstacles in your way and make you jump through hoops to achieve the simplest thing. A breath of fresh air these days!

Since we were set up with fibre optics through True Telecom (some months ago) we have had an ongoing problem with speed. Senten has been on the case from the word go and has dealt with the whole episode. He wasn't fobbed off by the excuses from Openreach as to reasons why we weren't getting the required download speeds but has kept on the case and we have finally seen an improvement. Senten has also dealt with the costs that Openreach have tried to charge us with and the outcome has been very acceptable. He has been very professional and helpful and always willing to speak with us when we have had to contact him.

First i quickly got through and spoke to customer services team they was very helpful and lovely to speak too, they helped me work out the main problem pretty quickly and realised we needed a technicians help as nothing to do with the router would play along and told me it would take a short while to hear from someone.
Then a couple of hours later i got a call from Chris, who was very polite and very quick to fix the problem, within 3 minutes of being on the phone the problem was sorted and i was back online. job done.
Within a couple of minutes of the phone going down i then had another call from customer services checking everything was working fine and to wish me a good day.
All in all the guys at chess are very helpful, very polite and we even managed to have a laugh about it all which is a lot more than i could of hoped for with most of my other service providers.
So what i thought was going to be a pretty rubbish day of being on hold getting transferred to different people over and over listening to rubbish music turned out to be a couple of good chats and a problem solved. I will definitely recommend true telecom

I signed up for true telecom as I felt they could give us a better deal than what we were getting with bt. The router was sent in plenty of time and the Internet went live in the afternoon of our live date, so we weren't without Internet for too long. The switch over was quick & easy. So far the connection seems very reliable and the speed is good. I am happy with the router as well. Well worth the switch over and we're saving money as well.

Problems occur with every company but in my experience True has resolve them effectively...I love the broadband - if you compare it to some alternatives is great value for money. Ignore the moaning minnies

I have just come across this site as I was going to research for a new line for my mum in her nursing home.

I have had business lines with True for quite a number of years now and have always found them to be competitive. Even when I was going to leave for a better deal, they matched it and kept it going.

I do however have to admit that I do not have broadband with True, simply because I don't want any interruption in my business like the last time I moved from BT to O2.

I have one line which is 30 something pounds including line rental and ALL phone calls to UK land lines, mobiles and pretty much most International land lines.

This saves us a hell of a lot in mobile and international calls and is the best tariff I have ever come across.

I think people are often too quick to put up the bad with the ease of the internet. I have no shares in True or any connection apart from being a customer. Any faults have always been sorted in a timely manner, and my only complaint is occasional calls from their marketing departments trying to sell me more lines or give details of any potential customers. Have already told those who I think would benefit!!

Overall, a happy customer (for phone lines - can't comment on broadband) who would recommend to others.

I switch over to True from BT. the services I am getting is not bad. They switch over was pretty comfortable and easily switched. Well done!

I have found my dealings with True Telecom to be helpful and professional. The network speed isn't particularly fast so if you're sending large files this can take a while. However given that it's a budget broadband solution I am pleased with the service overall.

True was originally recommended to me by a friend, and I have since recommended them to 3 friends also with small businesses. In the rare times we've had any issues with broadband reception or phone lines, they have been very quickly resolved even when the problem was not on True's side.

Once a customer service rep sorted out a problem with the broadband box by staying on the phone with me to test and resolve with the box provider. When the box maker could only commit to replacing it in 2 weeks, the True account manager sent me a refurbished replacement completely free of charge within 2 days.

True has contacted me pro-actively on several occasions to review my packages in order to save me more money, and they have. When they call at a busy time and I suggest a better time, they are great at respecting that and doing so.

The reps have always been polite, knowledgeable and service-orientated. When I closed one retail location, the process was painless.

I have been with True Telecom for 12 months on their business broadband package. Installation went really smoothly the engineer came and installed my router and did some tinkering with the phone box, and True text me when my broadband was ready to be used. I'm amazed at how quick the internet works we have 8 people using the internet in the office and it never slows down even when we are all running skype or uploading videos. we're very pleased with what we have and saved money on our bills.

Keep these kind of guys , they mark you out from the crowd. The credit for being off line was also very much appreciated.

Overall I've been very happy with the service although it's lost some of the personal touch with the introduction of more automated telephone responses. Probably inevitable given your expanding business. You might like to become a world leader by offering a telephone menu option that removes the music and replaces it with an occasional message at intervals to say you're still listening.

After spending many labourious hours trying to find the best business telecoms provider i decided to go with True, since being with them i have had to call up the customer service team a few times, every time i have called up the agents have been more than helpful to me, resolving my queries post haste and it has been a massive relief that when i do call up i get to speak to people in this country that seem to really care about their customers

I have been with True Telecom for 10 months now. The services I am getting is good. I never had any major issues and other problems were sorted in no time. I am happy I don't have to wait for ages to get through the customer services my calls are answered within seconds. I use to pay £40-£50 a month with my previous business provider. Now I am paying much lesser then that I am paying around £25. The customer services been excellent as they sort out any problems much quicker.

THIS COMPANY IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. STEER WELL CLEAR! They will cold call you, high pressure sell to you, rip you off and much much more! Trading standards have been informed of this company, do NOT waste your money! They cannot and will not save you money!

I changed to true telecoms from BT 4 months ago after being told it would reduce my bill. The first.3 months were £25-£35 dearer than my a average BT bill had been, so I contacted customer services who said they would get sales to call me & make sure I was on the correct tariff. Two weeks later, no call but my next bill for nearly £160 for the month. When I complained I was told it was because of all the mobile calls We make. On the original sales call I was asked what sort of business we were, what sort of calls we make(mainly mobile to the fitters out on site), what tariff we were on with BT & what we pay. After looking at all this information I was guaranteed True would be cheaper. "But what if your not I asked" then you can just cancelled the contract & go back to B T I was told. So now I want to cancelled the contract & I'm told Ill have to pay a cancellation fee!
Personally the decision to move to True was a bad one, it has cost me time & money & my advice is to keep clear of them, the grass is not always greener on the other side

I'm still having constant problems with BT despite the fact that you have been providing our Broadband and Telephone service since October 2013. BT are still attempting to bill us and I have been on the phone for hours to them in total. What a breath of fresh air you and your staff are. After BT told me that you couldn't possibly be providing us with your service I spoke to your customer services representative and she confirmed that you are providing us with the services and also confirmed on an email to me. Your service is great and if I have any problems I can easily call and it's swiftly rectified. Keep up the good work! Please pass your customer training manual onto BT as they are absolutely useless!!! Thanks :)

After searching for good business broadband provider i decided to go with true, since being with them i have had to call up the customer service team a few times, every time i have called up the cust services have been very helpful to me, resolving my problems.

The prices both of internet and phone are good as they get in the market, set up was easy, but there was some issues and still are about the re- located DPO Box in the building pertaining to my account being in the offices of a Telecoms competitor of True.

The lead time up to installation was suprisingly quick and the customer services people I talked to were helpful and pleasant, but there was some confusion as to whether I actually had been in for installation date booked!? Which I was! But alls well that ends well... plugged in ADSL and Router and once activated I was up and running, no problems at all. All good and much better service to date than my previous ISP providers who had no end of technical problems with their servers and security issues with their clients in bound lines!

Well done True... you have ensured I am able to continue growing my business with an internet and broadband system that does what it says on the tin! Thank you

I became an True customer few months ago, unfortunately there were a few issues in getting the line up and running due to BT openreach, but it was worth it for the savings im making. I would have switched before and save few more bucks on.

The services are good. Can't complain about how they handle problems and deal with urgency. I want to get iphone contract with them but that is not available right now. Hope in near future they will provide with iphone contract as well.

Just joined True, customer services team was really friendly, all 5 business lines got setup when they said they would, and the price is pretty good. Excellent! Hope I will get better services and they live upto the expectation. Will post more reviews how it goes.

Absolutely fantastic service received and my bills have been slashed by 70%. As promised there was no disruption to my broadband or telephone lines, could not be happier
