Park View Chip Shop

All Saints Vicarage

Wonderful peaceful church.Although next to a main road it has a tranquil aura amid the trees. It would help though if you wish to visit if the telephone number of the Vicar was correct on Google.

Barlows Herbalists

I have been using Barlow Herbalists for a number of years now as I trust them better than my own doctor. The advice that I have received and the quality of the herbal medicine is second to none. I have even had things cured that my doctor said I would have for the rest of my life. They have always been friendly and helpful I do not know what I would do without them. Keep up the good work.

Solid Sounds

The people in this shop are really arrogant, they sometimes have knowledge about the subject involved but really have a poor attitude towards customers. I've been forced to shop here a few times as it means not waiting for items in the mail but my advice is do your own research on the internet and buy online, be much cheaper too and less confrontation with these people.

Holloways Chip Shop

When arriving at the fish and chip shop, the area where people get served is very small, and you can fit around 6 people in, and it looks to be full and cramped. There is some off-putting gnomes behind the desk on a shelf with names on, it's really got no need to be there and looks terrible and tacky. The staff are quite friendly on some days, however can be quite miserable to most people, and not even say please and thank-you, many of my friends complain of the same issue.

Clean as it may be, the prices are too high for a fish and chip shop, I had got 2 lots of fish and chips, and a meat and potato pie and chips and the total was around £15, was shocked at the price. When we got home, the food was hot and cooked to perfection, however it should be for that price.

The miserable staff, high prices and tacky decoration is something that let's the shop down, apart from that the food is amazing though!

Padiham Paints

Really helpful and friendly. Was going to buy 2 tins of paint but they stopped me and told me to buy this other big tin as it was the same but cheaper. Saved us about £30. That's the kind of service I like!
