An absolute shower, useless. Never turn up when they are supposed to and some of their telephone staff are truly obnoxious. I will not renew our service contract with them at any price, this assumes someone will eventually turn up and do the service I am owed. I have had a Kirby for 15+ years and it is great but the servicing and attached sales pitch is deeply annoying, pushy and a waste of time. Parts are readily available and any half competent person can replace the bits that wear out.

Can I add my voice of complaint to this list. I have a service contract with Kirby and was expecting them at 4.00 yesterday. Nobody showed up and I've had no message. On previous occasions I have stressed that they must come when expected....and they have always been late. There is always a 'hard sell' - and I do regret buying my machine even if it does do a reasonable job of cleaning the carpets.

Please do not use this Kirby Franchise, they are deceitful cowboys. They put up a front of being experts and competent and customer focussed in order to get you business. Book appointments, no one turns up. Even when repeatedly chased they don't apologise or even turn up at the next arranged appointment.

Service appointment made for Friday 31 May 4pm through Kirby Service. Technician turned up 2hrs late so not possible to do the service. Rearranged appointment for 3rd June at 4pm. Technician failed to turn up without any explanation. Phone number on Service Report obsolete. I am entitled to a free service and have not had one. Appalling service and customer care

Bought a Kirby Nov 2011 and from March 2012 to date have received nothing but nuisance calls from them. On a daily basis sometimes three times per day have had someone trying to arrange a service. It got so bad that I took my Kirby to the rubbish tip. I informed them not to call me anymore as I no longer own a Kirby, but last month they sent a service engineer out to service the damn thing and again another engineer turned up today. When will they get the message. THIS IS NOW HARRASSMENT, have now reported this to Ofcom and Information Commissioners Office.

despite having paid for the Gold cover for service and repair call out the 4 telephone numbers I have ,including head office do not work.I now have a £900+ vacuum cleaner that doesn't work properly .Whilst initilally really impressed with the way this machine cleaned, now not being able to get it fixed is a major problem. Also after an illness i literally can not pick this machine up to carry it up the stairs.do hope someone from kirby gets back to me soon,or will have to go out and buy another brand of vac cleaner.
