I have known for about 15 years about The Glenwood Lodge hostel as about other other ones for the homeless in Brighton.
The place seems to have improved quite a bit.
Years ago, when food was provided.it was bad. Now there are shared and well-equipped kitchens.
The place is reported as sometimes noisy, including at nights, the quality of single rooms being variable.
It is not usual and rightly for people to want to move on from The Glenwood Lodge which provides a very necessary and sadly increasingly rare service, here and elsewhere.
