As previous customers I was not satisfied with my order,they sent wrong filter kit with a part number code that didn't even resemble the one ordered. As others - telephone number not recognised. So will return in the hope they either send the correct filter or return my money. Not holding my breath......

Gias Services

Like the previous writers I have tried to ring the number shown in my installation and instruction book. Guess what! the number is not known. Last year I did manage to speak to someone regarding my cooker clock and was quoted £150 which was reduced to £80 after some haggling. Still too expensive I thought and did not order it. Some weeks later a local electrician fixed it for just a few pounds. Now having gone on the internet for another part I read these horrendous reviews. Will now have to rethink my next plan of action.

I recently ordered a spare part for my tumble dryer
After giving the guy the make and model number three times
he said oh yes we have what you want. I ordered and payed for it then waited ten days for it to arrive
It came today and guess what it is totally the wrong part
If this is the service you get I will not be using them again Rubbish !!!!!!!!

I had almost exactly the same experience as Geoff H. A week ago I ordered a replacement control knob for my Candy hob. After some time having given the correct name and number of the model and describing what I wanted, the Gias employee seemed to have found the correct item. I paid by credit card, and today received from Gias a completely wrong knob. On attempting to phone Gias in Bolton a few minutes ago with the telephone number given, a voice told me that the number did not exist. There is another number available through 192 but it's a pound a minute line and I have no doubt that if I user it and manage to get through then I shall spend at least what I paid for the item again. So like Geoff I have now paid for something which is of no use to me and which I shan't get my £20 back for. Dreadful service and not acceptable in the least. I will not be using them again. It's a shame I can't put in less than 1 star.

A week ago I ordered a replacement filter for my Hoover bagless cleaner. It is a small black piece of gauze about the size of a 10p piece. After some little time of explanation and having given the correct name and number of the model and describing what I wanted, the Gias employee seemed to have found the correct item. I paid by credit card, and today received from Gias a white gauze filter some 4 inches by 2 and a half. On attempting to phone Gias in Bolton a few minutes ago with the telephone number given, a voice told me that the number did not exist. Understandably perhaps I am less than enthusiastic about Gias' efficiency, having paid about £15 for something which is of no use to me: and understandably I will not be using them again.
