Ennislare Guest House

Ennislare House was not very welcoming, and the manager was sleeping when we arrived. We were in the attic room which was very dusty and dirty. On checking the beds 1 had hairs in it another had boot prints on the sheet and the 3rd bed had a mattress which leaned to one side, the bathroom was full of hairs and the bin looked like it hadnt seen a cloth (left a message on that). Things like light shades and lamps had not been dusted and 1 lamp was broken, and cob webs in the bathroom. As for boiling the kettle this had to be done on the floor under a shelf as there was no where else to put it and windows have no safety catches, leaving 2 big risks of a child coming to harm. I worked in a hotel and now what a customer expects, this room would never have been allowed to be ready for any guest. I have no reason behind this review, pics are available

I stayed there for 2 nights last summer the first night was okish but the next day the room was rank I looked in the wardrobe and found what I can only call a matted lump which turned out to be a rotten towel the breakfast was very good until I crunched down on a sausage part of the full irish found to be bit of a bone and cracked my tooth cement or clement the manager refused to sort out my dental.
